A youth exchange took place in Puck, Poland from 20th to 26th of September 2022. Participants came from Poland, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. During the week they learned more about entrepreneurship, creating their own business and living in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals. The youth exchange activities were implemented through a non-formal education approach and focused in particular on:
learning about the e-learning course created as part of the SDGIYE project,
getting acquainted with the Business Model Canvas,
actively participating in the 1st day of the conference summarizing the SDGIYE project,
strengthening the competencies of young people participating in the exchange,
producing business models using the Sustainable Development Goals.
The tools that were used were all forms of non-formal learning, such as role-play, groupdiscussions, workshops, sharing sessions, study visits, mixed-group work, peer learning.
The SDGIYE project’s youth exchange focused on setting up Sustainable Development Goal businesses to create a balance between development needs and opportunities. In this way, the participants gained not only entrepreneurial skills, but also a sense of initiative and awareness of sustainability, which are very important when starting a micro-enterprise. As a result of this activity, the young people created enterprise plans, which were published on the project website which you can see here: Video presentation of the outcomes
