The Institute for Regional Cooperation is a partner in the A B.A.G. of Inclusion project. Project KA210-YOU, number: 2024-1-IT03-KA210-YOU-000248059.

The project is coordinated by the Italian organization Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale, and partners include the Serbian organization AZBUKI and the Spanish organization HOPE.

The project is being implemented in the partner countries of Italy, Poland, Spain, and Serbia from September 1, 2024, to February 28, 2026.

The A B.A.G. of Inclusion project covers the topics of promoting equality for LGBT+ people, integration, promoting equality and non-discrimination, digital safety and is aimed at young people and youth workers from partner countries and beyond.

The Kick-off meeting took place in the town of the coordinating organization – Piazzola sul Brenta in Italy.

The following activities are being implemented as part of the project:

1. Didactic Concept

This document outlines the fundamental principles, methods, and best practices for working with young queer people in digital spaces, with a particular focus on body, agency, and gender. Designed with youth workers in mind, it offers structured guidelines to help navigate these nuanced and often sensitive topics with cultural awareness, inclusion, and care.

2. Digital Online Course

This course equips youth workers with the knowledge and practical tools needed to support young queer people in navigating body image, self-expression, and gender identity in online spaces. The course includes expert insights, real-world scenarios and strategies for inclusive practice, and interactive components—quizzes, self-assessments, and case studies—that deepen reflection and reinforce learning.

3. Training Format & Training Event

The A B.A.G. of Inclusion Training Course, organized by Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale in Piazzola sul Brenta, Italy, took place from June 4-10, 2025. Four participants from Poland participated in the course for youth workers. Based on the results of the course, workshops for young people will be held in partner countries.
