Jordan Youth exchange in Jordan “How to be green?”
In October 2023, a Youth Exchange was organised in Jordan with 50 participants from five countries. This joint initiative aimed to foster intercultural understanding among the participants and also to develop models for ecological living.
In the six-day event organised by SYL, the schedule was carefully planned to provide adequate space for learning, sharing and co-development, combined with intercultural integration.
Each day consisted of morning and afternoon activity sessions, filled with presentations, workshops and sharing of experiences. This allowed participants not only to learn from experts, but also to exchange ideas and develop innovative solutions for sustainable, greener living. In addition to the educational elements, the evenings were packed with discussions on a variety of topics. Moreover, each country also had the opportunity to showcase its unique heritage, traditions and customs, which deepened understanding and appreciation among the participants.
The Youth Exchange organised in Jordan was a proof of the power of initiatives in shaping a shared vision of a greener future.
