The main objective of the project ‘EcoTournament – The planet depends on us’ is to strengthen the competences of youth workers and young people in the field of environment and climate change through high-quality training and online tools that improve the professional development of youth workers and enhance scientific, digital, civic and entrepreneurial competences among young people and raise awareness of the need to protect the environment in the European Union and the Southern Mediterranean.

An extensive e-learning platform, developed specifically for the project, is one of the major achievements of this project, enabling young people and youth workers to access the prepared EcoTournament and EcoTournament course, as well as other educational materials.

Among other things, it includes access to:

• Activities, where the individual project work packages are described;
• Partners, where all information about the project’s co-organising partners can be found;
• Materials and Learning Area, which is divided into two tabs:
  • DIGITAL GUIDE, offering comprehensive guidance for youth workers, while facilitating effective use of the EcoTournament tool and efficient navigation on the e-learning platform;
  • MODULES containing educational material, relating to Water, Air and Land
• ECO-TOURNAMENT – an online tournament, designed for young people, with a variety of online and interactive tasks, which they can sign up to and compete in groups: among themselves, between different classes, or between different schools.             Eco Living Models -are proposed models for communities/families oriented towards a more ecological life, which can be a source of inspiration for others.

“EcoTournament”, over a period of 24 months, also included a variety of activities that took place in Poland, Italy, Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia, consisting of: a kick-off meeting, a seminar and a study visit, the creation of an EcoTournament web platform and materials related to the designed tournament, 2 youth exchanges, international trainings for youth workers and local trainings, dissemination activities and a final conference.
